Excellent rugged scenery; nice to have a bus that is on such a photogenic route!

The bus service used to run to La Cabrera but they pulled buses to here except one in to Madrid in the early morning and one back mid evening. No good to me. Frustratingly, this happened just before I discovered the area. still, the service as far as Valdemanco is regular and the extra distance from the ridge proper forced me to explore more of the Sierra than I might otherwise have done!

Yes they are, but most names are banal; Peak of the Head, Mountain of the tree, etc.
But that is how it was!
