We were too early for most of the wildflowers in Big Bend National Park but did see these Rose Vervain along the Window Trail.

What a gorgeous pair of pictures, Ron. The colors and wonderful pleating of the petals is wonderful. They remind me a bit of Rose Mallow...wonder if they are related? In any event, you captured them so nicely, and I'm glad you found them along the way! :)

You've been on my mind and I'm hoping that your trip to Colorado has been wonderful, challenging, interesting, bonding, and lots of fun with your brothers! I worry but I know that I shouldn't--of course you will be fine--but still I'll be happy to know for sure that you're safe and sound, weighted down by great memories and a zillion amazing pictures! :)
