Moods

Moods
I suppose that if there's anything that ties the three photos I've posted together it is that they reflect different moods, this the sunlight returning after a storm, the insets some storm clouds that brought ferocious thunder, lightning and rain to the area and a calm evening on the lake.

Nouchetdu38, Gabriella Siglinde, Marja Savonije, tiabunna and 26 other people have particularly liked this photo

You are right.
The three main ways we see the primeval days.
You gave them the right (IMHO) mood and truthfulness.
Wish you a happy weekend, Ron.

Such a marvelous trio of pictures with a title that conveys everything it needs to. Your main image is lovely in its golden tones and vertical lines. I adore reeds so this picture makes me very happy. The sunlight on the lake is so pretty. Really wonderful. I love the mirror-like surface of the water in the second picture and the marvelous +/- space created by that wonderful shoreline. Lots of fun elements to look at too. Very nice. Your third picture is fantastic! Those clouds are just incredible and would get anyone's serious attention--they mean business! Love the different shades and lighting on them too. BOOMIN! Literally, apparently! :D

Going to try to get my tushie into action and post pictures today. We'll see, cross your fingers! :)

Those clouds produced a thunderstorm the like of which I've seldom seen. We had floods in the area as a result but the lighting was almost continuous and the thunder seemed to be right in our ears, almost unbearably loud.

WOW!! Ron that must have been pretty scary. I've been under a riotous thunder storm and the entire building was literally shaking back and forth, the sound, as you say, was so loud we could hardly bear it! Once I was looking out our window and lightning hit almost where I was looking and I couldn't see for 5 minutes! At the same time, it sounded like the whole house exploded and the hair on my head stood out like a static ball--it was INCREDIBLE!!

By the way, guess who FINALLY got her post up?! :) I hope you enjoy the show! :)
