This is the area through which we hiked to Fortynine Palms Oasis in Joshua Tree National Park.

The image and insets give a wonderful overall impression of the area. I can't WAIT to go there myself, and you know that I'll be thinking about you the whole time, Ron. The magnificent rounded boulders in every picture are a sight, and I love how they sit together like a natural jigsaw puzzle. In your main image, I also love the pairing of those main boulders. Super cool. Thanks for the show, your whole Joshua Tree series is really great. :)

Thanks so much for your comments on my light bulb pictures!! It totally made my day to know that you were so taken by them! :)

I enjoyed hearing about your little photo outing...and you know, I found some interesting little finger-like fungus too the other day! So tiny--we're talking perhaps 1/8" high here--and discovered under a piece of bark. Took a pile of pictures and darned if one didn't come out well enough to process! Do yours look like little brown fleshy fingers? I've never seen them before so I'll be posting at some point. Hopefully you got a good picture--it often doesn't work out, I know all too well! I love the part where someone saw you flat out and came back to see if you were alive! ROFLMAO...I know that one too! HAH! Rolling around on the ground and getting low shots never fails to raise the general alarm until it's obvious that I'm merely an insane photographer! :D *high five* We are merely vehicles to our passion! :D

OoooooOOOOooo, your kitchen extravaganza was mouth-watering to read! We love curry, and are actually finishing up a vat of keto-style Tom Kha Gai that we've been loving so much. Steve is the passionate cook in our relationship, though when I feel like taking up the reins, I can create insanely delicious dishes like one of our favorites, Indian Butter Chicken...anyway, Steve usually cooks and I am the happy cleaner-upper! :) Thanks for sharing, and *smacks your hand* STAY OUTA THE EGG NOG, IT'S NOT MATURED YET! :D
