Crater Lake


There is a Crater Lake in Oregon, part of a national park there, but this is a much smaller lake in Washington in the North Cascades. We hiked here last autumn with friends and it involved more bushwacking than hiking. We lost the trail several times and had to rely on my GPS to get us to the lake. I had, in fact, gotten lost on a previous attempt to find the lake on a foggy day. This photo was taken by my wife.
