Mount Shuksan

The trail to Lake Ann is about four miles each way, but there is also a side trail from the lake to Curtis Glacier on the shoulders of Mount Shuksan. This shot shows Mount Shuksan from that trail and part of Curtis Glacier as well. When we hiked to Lake Ann we did this trail as well which takes you to the side of the glacier. Both at the lake and at the glacier one often hears the boom of ice falling from the glacier. A bit of the trail is visible in the foreground and along the left side of the picture.
