Viking 45
This is the entry of a team from Western Washington University in the Progressive Automotive X Prize competition. It's a hybrid and was eliminated in the finals of this world-wide competition for "Failure to pass the avoidance maneuver test within the specified number of tries." It was photographed in a park at Bellingham Bay while it was there on display for an evening. It's a bit different from the things I usually post but I liked the car and liked the photo.

Instantly love the pov and drama of this. The dynamic silver glowing out of the black night is brilliant. The angled green of the wheel and the lights on the horizon lift it again. Focus looks good, as far as I can see in 800 size. I don't mind the flash hot spot, in fact I think it adds to the space age feel. (IMO) The close up view is terrific.

(No fave, as I rarely fave images where I can't view the clarity/focus at a larger size)
