This orchid, Restrepia cuprea, like many of the other Restrepias, has a little face in the center. It is a small plant, less than 15 cm, and is from Colombia. The plant's name, cuprea, refers to the coppery orange color of the flowers. Interestingly, Restrepia is one of the few orchids that can be grown from leaf cuttings.
