Artist's Point

If you follow the Mount Baker Highway to its end, something that can only be done for a few months at the end of the summer, then you come to Artist's Point, where you can park your vehicle, do some hiking and enjoy the spectacular views of Mount Baker and of Mount Shuksan.
Our son and daughter-in-law were visiting recently and had never been up to Artist's Point. The weather was not very good while they were staying with us and so he and I took the only chance we had and drove up one afternoon. We never did see Mount Baker or Mount Shuksan, but were able to do a bit a hiking around and to enjoy some of the scenery as the clouds moved in and out.
This view looks north and further views can be found at ronaldhanko-orchidhunter.blogspot.com/2010/09/artists-poi...
