Columbia River Gorge near Bingen

This photo was taken earlier in the year by my wife. We were looking for a rare native orchid near Catherine Creek along the Columbia. She saw the wildflowers here as we drove by and wanted a picture. I had to find a place to turn around and go back and then drive down a rough track so she could get the picture she wanted and this is it. The story of our brief excursion is found here: ronaldhanko-orchidhunter.blogspot.com/2010/06/orchid-hunt....
