Balsamroot and Sagebrush

This photo was taken by my wife on Manastash Ridge (see the previous photo) and shows some of the scrubby growth and wildflowers that are typical of the area. The flowers are the Arrowleaf Balsamroot, named for its scented roots, and the shrub I've not identified. The photo was taken early in the morning and I liked it better than any similar pictures I had taken for its tones.
