Phlox paniculata

I believe I have the identification correct on this, but do not know if it is a native or a garden escape where we found it. It was photographed in Turkey Run State Park in Indiana. At the time we photographed it there were a lot of Swallowtails visiting the flowers but we did not manage to get any good pictures of them.
