Robson River

Another photo from last summer's hike up the Berg Lake trail, this one taken from the flood plain north of Kinney Lake and looking north. The color of the water in the river is due to glacial silt. The trail climbs Whitehorn Hill, just visible on the left and follows that hill up into Whitehorn Basin where we ended our hike. The river is crossed at this point by several bridges since the crossing would be very dangerous without them.
