Bunchberry

Bunchberry
Bunchberry, Cornus canadensis, is a dwarf Dogwood and very common in our area. The white dogwood-like flowers are followed in late summer with these red berries. The plant is only 4-8 inches tall and this example was photographed along the Berg Lake trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia.
