I like to go there when I am in the states with my 15% discount with A.A.R.P. !!

Aha! Do you have breakfast?

We had all meals so far…….breakfast, lunch and supper.

In Florida, our Dance Troupe stopped there after an event in Ybor City, FL.
This was on the way to most of our homes.

The management refused 2 of us ( me and another ) entry until we put our shoes on [we had them in our hands]. We wanted to use the restroom to wash our feet off -- before - putting on our shoes!

No, they wouldn't let us. So, we put dirty-sticky feet in our shoes -- went to the restroom - washed our feet and tried to get the sticky out of our shoes.

Ybor City had a big street party that night/morning - with lots of bands. We were the dancers in-between the band set ups.
People at those events aren't neat, if you get my drift - flat out sloppy drinkers letting beer pour from their cups -- hence our sticky feet.

All that to tell you, I never did go back to Denny's -- we had told them why we had not put our shoes on ...

Wow, that was a hassle! I doubt there would have been a scene at this one. I've only been there three times and didn't see that they observed much going on around them. The ones around San Francisco could be the exception, though.
