Old Plymouth, 1950

Old Plymouth, 1950
This was last registered in 1956, which means it was only driven for six or seven years - although I don't know the registration laws back then. The interior has completely rotted out (PiPs in previous photo) and the exterior rusted. As usual for these old-timers, the chrome is in nearly perfect condition.

Sami Serola (inactive), polytropos, , Smiley Derleth and 7 other people have particularly liked this photo

The external rust looks to be only superficial, ie not chewing through the bodywork. Good use of selective colour.

"Some surface rust." the used-car advertisement would read.

Lol! Yes, like in real estate sales you would use "well lived in."

You are correct, tiabuna. The kind of rust that at least doesn't allow you to see the road through the floor.

Don't let this plastic corrode so, that the rain washes it to the ocean :-(

I'm afraid I'm not in charge of the plastic, Rapi! Anyway, I don't live anywhere near the ocean. ;-o
