Marine pith helmet


This is in the window of the Marine recruiting office and it is likely post-WWII. There is no information about this or the boots in the window display. Photo below is from: tinyurl.com/gmowerm, which has more information than you knew you wanted about military hats and helmets!

Presumably Viet Nam era due to the age of the VW in back. My guess is that they were on R&R in Hawaii.
