The clear insert must be so that the kids can text while they have their haircut. It's well known that if young people are separated from their phones for more than five minutes they become disorientated and have panic attacks.

That's it! I had NO idea until they were finished and my granddaughter said what it was for, then I laughed and laughed. Old Grandma embarrassed them. Well, it seemed so stupid! Can't even get a haircut without texting, "sup?" "r u at home?" "c u L8er"

Argggghhhh!

Oh, and it looks to me like the barber has a phone built into his clippers. Very clever!

That wouldn't surprise me one bit, but he was adjusting the setting. From Bald to Sort of Bald.

Sadly.. for texting... sigh...

Pity the barber wont promote the art of conversation.... or maybe he cant do that himself........

He was almost uncommunicative until a little girl said, "I love you guys" to her big brothers and they almost died of embarrassment. The barber said, "Hey, you guys acknowledge that! You don't just sit there like lumps when your sister says she loves you! What's wrong with you?"

I thought, hey, this guy not only has a brain, he's got a heart! It turned out that he just talks when it's important. (No problem, I'm grumpy, too!)

He just went wayyyyyyyyyy up in my thoughts !!!

Hahaha! If he's not a dad already, he'll be a good one! Quiet, but a confident power. Meanwhile, I KNEW my grandson was sitting there thinking that if his sister said that to him in public, he'd want to kill her.

Haha, no wonder the kids love to go there! Texting while getting a haircut... I'm too old for that;-)
