Der Name für die Kirche geht auf die frühchristliche Missionarin Junia zurück und wurde von der Mehrheit der Gemeindemitglieder gewählt. Wahrscheinlich war Junia eine freigelassene jüdische Sklavin. The name of the church dates back to the early Christian missionary Junia and was elected by the majority of community members. Probably Junia was a freed Jewish bondswoman.
