Mountain Cornflower (Centaurea montana)


A walk in our local park yesterday displayed some nice summer flowers. Here is a close up of the Mountain Cornflower head. We have these in our garden too but our friendly squirrel ate all the heads.

I used to use the Nikon 105mm macro lens.........I sometimes wish I'd kept it for use with an adaptor on my Olympus kit.
