HFF ~ Boston fire-escape

Seen near the centre of Boston, Massachusetts. I liked the play of light on these aluminium fences. After some recent horrific high-rise fires here in Britain, I am sure the residents here would be glad of these precautions.

I like the light and shadows and the patterns made by the stairs Herb. You are right. The only means of escape in our last flat was out of the bedroom window and out through the fire doors to the main staircase. Thw indow ledge was too high for many elderly residents.
