An interesting and well taken shot to compare your previous ones with.............and from here it's easy to see why the lower deck is rarely used. Unless you walked to the very end and saw the ladder, you wouldn't know how to get down there.

I wonder why it was built like that?

Hi Herb another nice view of the west pier was the new bridge open from the end of the east pier over to the end of the old wooden pier when you visited.

Hi Toz. We never did walk on the east pier and so I did not know how to answer you, but, I have just looked at my HFF shot for this week and now I see the new section - something we had not realised when we were there. Was it open -you can see for yourself on Friday.
