Spiral Fence

Spiral Fence
A first holiday for many months brings me to the English Lake District. Here at Cogra Moss near Ennerdale Water I spot this twisty-turny fence reminding me a little of a cork-screw. All around me, beauty and isolation –what more can we ask for in these strange times.

Beauty and isolation –what more can we ask for in these strange times indeed? But we're not actually isolated, we're all connected, and the smoke from our wildfires will eventually drift your way, and you will breathe in particles from former Redwood Trees, even if you aren't aware of it ... depending on your philosophical disposition, this may be a happy thought or not. ;-)

A beautiful place indeed, Herb, and I like that the fence is a true protagonist here. Great color contrast with the background, too.
