Happy New Decade from Holmfirth

A new way at looking at old traditional subjects. No, this is not snow or frost but rather a different editing process of the bright sun shining on the grass, water and buildings. These are the same buildings of my last photo (pip) but this time looking down into the valley towards Digley reservoir, Holmfirth in Yorkshire. - -Deserves full screen!

I wish all my viewers here a Happy New Year and of course a Happy New Decade too.

At first I thought it was snow, but then maybe just a green filter, then make the lot monochrome..

Hi Peter, nice to see you here for this HFF weekend. The process: well it was just an effect of the hdr processing amplified by the mono filter that I employed. The hdr was used to add light to the intense shadow in the lane. So no IR film or green filters I am afraid, but I can see where you are coming from.
