Mauritius - Wonder of the Indian Ocean

Mauritius, an Indian Ocean island nation has many appealing aspects which include beautiful golden beaches and wonderful countryside as well as incredible mountains. A nostalgic photo here from a catamaran trip along the coast taken in 2014. The mountain with the high rock is Rempart Mountain (I think).

Thanks Nick. The time spent her eby us was all too short. We did a tri around the Island by bus and the highlight was also this catamaran trip and a boat trip up the Black River to one of its waterfalls.

Thanks Keith. When I look at my photos taken on this day, I took decidedly few interesting photos considering where we were. Ah well - we cannot always have such places as Scotland :)
