A Saturday run

A Saturday run
A warm Spring-like day brings me back at the far end of the series of reservoirs starting with Dove Stones. Here just a few hundred metres from the top of Greenfield reservoir we are looking up towards the Trinnacle rocks. The runner is a thing one sees quite often, as these fell-runners often do a large circuit here - through this narrow valley up to the high rocks and onward along a high ridge path. As you can see with the bright sun just lifting its head over the top left rocks, the lighting was challenging.

Ho Toz, the view from the rocks is stunning as seen in the PiP of one of my previous climbs up there. I used to test myself ,-up to last year, on scrambling directly up the right-hand steep hill you see here as fast as i could, from here to the top but my last try took two days to get over the attempt! Getting old you see! Thought better of it this year :)
Enjoy the sun and warmth this week my friend, Herb
ps -just realised I did not have a PiP here, just the link in my description. Now amended!

The light is beautiful Herb and I love the PiP!! Not you having a run then!? The camera wouldn't like it I suspect ;-)) Cheers, Rosa.

Hi Rosa, it was a nice short walk here, with my wife. The light was lighting up the valley bottom, runner and stream. No-way I would be running up there. There is in fact a waterfall, higher up here and I have taken long exposures of that last year. Will have to find them :) Glad you liked the PiP, again taken a couple of years back.
Cheers, Herb
