A popular tree walk

A popular tree walk
Seen in the picturesque coastal village of Honfleur ,France. We see here a planted walkway, a million miles away from the medieval town and delightful harbour. Most people might pass this by in favour of the other delights of this town but for me, a feast for the eyes and soul.

Honfleur is bigger than at first meets the eye Andy. This avenue, although looking as if it is in the middle of nowhere is in fact very near to the big old lighthouse and park not very far from the old town itself. Well worth seeking out if you go again.

You have great eyes Steve. A fine little avenue that was all too quickly surrounded by modernity again. A touch of hdr here to keep the sky and shadows under control. The 24-120 does it again for me. Cheers, Herb

Wonderful capture.
I like the light from aside with it shadows. And I like as weel that bit of deep blue sky on top. And I shall not forget the PiP!!! It is more a tunnel, than an alley!

Great that you enjoy both my tree alleys here Leon. I like this by my old photo is in a world of its own. Within Panoramio it had many thousands of visits and in Flickr this has had over 2500 views too. I keep looking for a perfect alternative of which this has potential!
