Burg Eltz -revisited

Another view from my 2015 trip to the Mosel. Too good to lie languishing in my 'never published box'.
See PiP
Eltz Castle is a medieval castle nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany. It is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century, 33 generations ago. WiKi

I am a little sad now, because I visited Cochem, Koblenz, Trier, and the Mosel river, but unfortunately remained in blissful ignorance of this castle. Thank you for showing me what I missed.
Best Wishes, and a good weekend.

Wir waren auf einem Rundweg von 15 km und plötzlich bot sich dieser Blick.
Ich glaube, ich habe dieses Bild noch nicht veröffentlicht.
Freundliche Grüße
Erich
