In the trees.

In the trees.
I set out to find my limits for single shots tracked I started with 20 sec then worked up to 1 min by 10 sec intervals. So I stayed within the trees so I had a reference point.

40 sec looks ok as long as you dont look at the trees very close I believe 30 sec is the real limit but still not as crisp as a static 20 sec shot in truth.

Any thoughts ???

I am trying to work out my limits to get the most out of the tracker. 30 seconds is the real limit in these sorts of shot but for detail it is 20 seconds alright. we suffer from a lot of atmospherics if its not raining you can see a brown band next to the ground dust and smoke. Only true winter its clear.

I have a clear idea just how I can use the tracker going forward for deep space and wide angle shots.

glad that you think so its a place I have been to many time but its always a different view I get. you have the camera and its then only finding as dark a sky as you can get. the hardest part is giving it a go.
