I know what you mean If i can not edit a photo in 3 min I did not take it right, this is a whole different problem when you blend these two elements. I have to find a slightly better way I was home on my own so I had the time. Yes a minute of your time was worth your thoughts...

What can I say that I have not said before about your night star pictures Steve. Just when I think that you cannot go any further, you continue to break the limits of what an amateur can do. Was the time and effort worth it? No question about it, of course it was. I have met people and in some ways include myself in this, who have waited months and traveled long distances in order to get that once in a lifetime landscape shot. I know that you might have got this from just one night and a few hours shooting but I also know that you have spent countless hours over the last few years honing your techniques. The results speak for themselves here. This one in my opinion could grace any modern publications front cover of our night sky in perfection. Very well done. ⭐ Congratulations.

Thank you Herb you know of the steps to get here which has been a good few years but worth every dud photo to learn. This is an even bigger step with the tracker that I did debate if it was worth looking into. This is the very first time I did take a photo I could work with every other time I kept forgetting to take the Photo.

I know so little about Photo shop and rely on my Master Pieter to help but he is very busy working so I BLUNDERED on my own with what I already knew. I know Pieter is keen I try and learn. I know I will not edit much past three min but this is not one of those photos but I believe I have to get smarter. Photo cover no there is no body light the milky way other that the stars this is just nature at its very best. you get the idea of the size of the huge flat rock I was on



Is just to the left of shot as you walk out all in all a night that was a great learning curve. Thank you for your encouragement .

this is great Steve, it is worth all the time you spend getting this far. I wish I could see this part of the Milkyway in the northern skies.

The interesting thing is this is 100Km round trip from home was a night where the milky way shone It was a very cold clear winters night no moon at all. this is my first I hope second will be better and easier. thank you and you are welcome any time.

Thank you Rodger This was an enjoyable night The very best time to shoot is winter in the cold clear air. You will get more Slowly as I go out and enjoy the dark skies of Western Australia.

What I have never like about photoshop is the lazy way to make a shot . most will take the lazy option and try and make the shot in Photoshop that looks nothing like what they took.

I know you can not make a shot like this in real life but what you see is as was taken just like the shot above. this is the real use of the tracker. as I learn more It gets better and all a way to show just what its like at nigh.
