Milky Way At 30 seconds

Milky Way At 30 seconds
A night that was a trial to see if I could use the tracker as part of my normal night photography.
Full 30 seconds on the Nikon timer not 20.

Berny, Gudrun, Peter_Private_Box, and 14 other people have particularly liked this photo

Marvellous work, Steve. The Magellanic Clouds show well, as does your balancing rock (btw, what's the apparent artwork on the front of it?).

A different set of Rocks but very much the same principle.

Old Friend revisited

I can do nothing about it this area is close to the road and vandals. The Rock in the middle the face to the right, you cant see is fully painted in different colours you can see what the run off from the paint does to the Rock nothing grows the black growth that on the Rock just will not grow.

I turned the tracker to help my Milky ways shot by lifting the time a whole 10 seconds. another night I want to see what the limits are. Will be quite interesting just where I end up. looking like a good investment. Thanks George.

Hi Steve

As always, great work with the camera. Shame about the vandals....!

thats the problem when its easy access to the place you get all sorts and lots that dont care at all. I have to try and take photos not showing as much as I can. Our weekend is a good one in WA its raining. Many thanks all the best from down under.

Some idiots will stop at nothing but the photo is briliant as always!

this only goes to prove it as well now the cleaning would ruin the patina of time on the rock.
