In truth I knew with only a 14mm would not give me any close up so I turned the camera back to astro settings this is the result. next time my 24-120 will be with me if we go past again. close up would be stunning tree and lights but we see the lights high into the sky. many thanks, I do wonder if its worth adding astro photos these days but I add for my own pleasure. and hope one or two also enjoy them.

This a amazing picture Steve. The light reaching for the stars and the old tree and sculptures reflected in the still waters are of the lake are a beautiful sight.
