There are so many along the new berm at the far end of the fairgrounds, it looks like a hedge. Who eats these plants in Mississippi?

The leaves are eaten by various caterpillars. The berries are eaten by birds. I will try to get photos of the diners next year.

This morning, I found a pokeweed that had only half its leaves and a few berries eaten. So, I looked at all the leaves for what was eating it. All I found was one little cucumber beetle. I will check again.
