Somebody must have liked the architectural design this way, haha. But this is nothing compared with some modern architecture in my hometown Hamburg. Have you seen a photo of the Elbphilharmonie? www.elbphilharmonie.de/de

I watched the opening performance a couple of months ago where a light show illuminated the building in harmony with the music that was playing. It was a spectacular event.

Ich mag diesen Bau auch sehr gerne. Frueher war diese ganze Gegend nur eine Kohlen- und Steinhalde. Ein Billionair, der in der Stadt aufwuchs, hat mit eigenem Geld die gesamten Anlagen und das Flussufer zu einem herrlichen Park umgebaut. Der Wanderweg ist zwei km lang. Es gibt auch ein herrliches Besucherzentrum wo man gemuetlich sitzen kann und den Schiffen auf dem Fluss zuschauen kann. Port Huron ist jedes Jahr ueberflutet mit Seglern. Die beruehmte Mackinac Regatta findet statt, mit einer Entfernung von 375 Meilen.
