I was a little disappointed actually.

On a scale from "Never Again" to "I'm buying the DVD", this movie rates a "I'll live without seeing it twice."

I saw a stand of 5 Hour Energy drinks. It also had 5 Hour Energy Extra strength in the same stand. Now, I'm not a chemist or anything, and this is why I'm asking, but why is the Extra Strength version still only 5 hours?

I saw an list online entitled "101 Most Essential iPhone Apps of 2008". First of all the fact that there's 101 suggests to me that someone doesn't know the definition of essential. Upon seeing that one of the apps is a picture of a cowbell that makes a sound when you tap it appears to confirm my suspicions.

Cloverfield: Didn't like it. I think I could sum the reason why by saying the movie's style simply didn't appeal to me. I think Jodie Foster is a good actress, and I thought this was a good movie. Not amazing, but good. It took a different direction that I at first anticipated, but it was a welcomed direction. I thought the whole situation played out quite realistically, but I was disappointed in the ending. The other day someone complained that they found a stray hair of an unknown donor in place where it shouldn't be (I think it was in the sink of the washroom at work or something). I watched American Gangster this past week. I'm really not a huge Russel Crowe fan, but I do like Denzel Washington. They both did a really good job, and leagues better than the last time they appeared opposite each other years ago in Virtuosity. Anyway, yes it was a good movie. The group at Pixar are great film makers. If I could sum up Wall E in one word, it would probably be "sweet". But it's sweet on many different levels. It's also not a sickly-make-you-puke kind of sweet. It's a funny and charming kind of sweet. It is however coupled with some more serious undertones. Pixar does such a great job of communicating the emotions, the humor, and what the characters are thinking through body language. A credit to their animation skills, and story telling in general. Pix…
