I watched American Gangster this past week. I'm really not a huge Russel Crowe fan, but I do like Denzel Washington. They both did a really good job, and leagues better than the last time they appeared opposite each other years ago in Virtuosity. Anyway, yes it was a good movie. The beginning was a little slow, but once they finished setting up the background on the main characters things picked up. The ending wasn't what I was expecting, but real life endings rarely are. I won't be rushing out to buy the DVD, but I enjoyed it.
