Farlington Marshes

Farlington Marshes
Farlington Marshes is a Nature Reserve in Portsmouth in Hampshire. It is managed by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

It was a mostly overcast and very windy day..........and while there were a lot of birds about, most were too far away for my lenses. Nevertheless, it was a lovely three hour walk in great company :-) This image was taken on my mobile phone.

I can honestly say I wish I was there!

Hope this gets a laugh .... I followed the link to look at the details of the reserve and clicked on the map ( I always go straight to maps and site plans ) and my iPad showed me how long it would take to walk there

Your mobile takes great pictures Keith. I have a new one and I did think of getting the same as yours but ended up with a Motorola...it was a bit cheaper :-)
It's a beautiful landscape and the movement in the grasses is lovely, along the winding path. You have captured the sky beautifully as well, which is not easy on a grey day!
I have made a not of this place for when I am able to go further afield again!

You had better be careful Keith, MI6 may be knocking on your door using Huawei equipment nowadays! I must admit to thinking that this was a self portrait, what wearing a similar hat and hosting a white bushy beard :) All that being said - of course another fine picture of this beautiful walk.

Ha, ha...........that would be interesting..!! I bought it for the camera, which is very good, but Huawei is in trouble in the USA and UK at the moment. I'll keep it as long as I can :-)
