Farlington Marshes

Farlington Marshes is a Nature Reserve in Portsmouth in Hampshire. It is managed by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.
It was a mostly overcast and very windy day..........and while there were a lot of birds about, most were too far away for my lenses. Nevertheless, it was a lovely three hour walk in great company :-) This image was taken on my mobile phone.

Lovely image
I can honestly say I wish I was there!
Hope this gets a laugh .... I followed the link to look at the details of the reserve and clicked on the map ( I always go straight to maps and site plans ) and my iPad showed me how long it would take to walk there

Keith Burton club has replied to Colin Ashcroft clubKeith Burton club has replied to Jean-luc DrouinIt's a beautiful landscape and the movement in the grasses is lovely, along the winding path. You have captured the sky beautifully as well, which is not easy on a grey day!
I have made a not of this place for when I am able to go further afield again!
Take care, Herb
