Ah, its always good to see these lone trees perched at an angle and thriving so. I too must have taken hundreds of photos of them but most never see the light of day, unlike this splendid example. Well done.

Just fantastic Colin. I love the jaunty angle of the tree, and it's shape is beautiful. The red berries looks lovely against the sky. An instant fave for me.........especially viewed large, on black.

I'd probably have cheated a bit here and had a go at cloning out those trees on the bottom left, just to isolate the hawthorn even more.........but that's just me :-))

I see what you mean Keith I did try for the angle without them but nearly slipped into the stream below :-)
