Drax
Drax power station is a large biomass power station in Drax, North Yorkshire, England. It has a 2.6 GW capacity for biomass and had a 1.29 GW capacity for coal that was retired in 2021. Its name comes from the nearby village of Drax. It is situated on the River Ouse between Selby and Goole.

deze bosfoto gemaakt vanwege de kleuren -als je de achtergrond bekijkt,dan zie je halverwege zo'n grijs/lila structuur-die is afkomstig van beplanting van lagere struiken-omdat vijf meter boven die struiken de hoogspanningsdraden hangen-daarom mogen er geen gewone hoge bomen groeien,in elk geval krijgt het bos door deze nu kale struiken een byzondere sfeer,....

At last week's meeting of my camera club we experimented with light painting. These are some of my efforts.
The Puffin
Puffins are any of three species of small alcids in the bird genus Fratercula. These are pelagic seabirds that feed primarily by diving in the water. They breed in large colonies on coastal cliffs or offshore islands, nesting in crevices among rocks or in burrows in the soil.
