Excellent capture Colin, the pigeons fly away but the rooks really go for it I often watch this scene.

Back at Saint Day, Cornwall I spend ages watching the antics of the jackdaws on the neighbouring chapel roof. They will gang up on ANY bird that enters their territory.

Thanks for all the comments Andy. I have had a bit of luck with Buzzards and Kestrel in recent weeks but if I wanted a photo of a Jackdaw that would be easy. They seem to have increased in numbers every year and for example taking the photo of the Whooper Swans yesterday I estimated 120 Jackdaws in the fields I walked through !
