Reflecting on Perth

One thing that struck me in Perth was that quite a few of the old buildings have survived the rush to build glass towers, unlike some other Australian cities. For my money, the city is the better for it. For interest, in this shot, the sunlight on the older building is being reflected from the building nearer me.

The surviving building in this picture looks very nice George. I wonder how many birds across the world fly into these huge glass buildings! I have had to protect them from the glare on my double glazed highly reflective windows, but I still had one dead sparrow this week :-(

Well at least the glass gives you the opportunity of viewing the more traditional buildings, George. The building behind the small cream house with the tiled roof is very Art Deco in style. An elegant photo.
