Today began with the news of the passing of the singer/actor Olivia Newton-John, who moved from music and movies into active support for cancer research. RIP, Olivia. Here's a link to a clip with her from the movie "Xanadu".

You don't seem to suffer wintertime where you are, George. An early camellia in the UK would turn brown on the first day of opening because of frost.

Where I live on the coast rarely drops lower than 5 C during winter Amelia, so the camellias have been flowering since March.
