Through the channels #2

Heading down the Norwegian coast toward Bergen and passing through a series of fairly narrow channels. See also PiP. On the way north we had travelled this part of the coast at night. HFF and best wishes for the weekend, everyone.

Thank you for your comments on my pictures, I was delighted how many people had never seen a black petunia either. :) I really love showcasing unusual sights--isn't that fun?! :)
You commented that it was nice that I got there at an obvious peak...but you know what? They have crazy amounts of flowers year-round!! In fact, they try their hardest to keep the park in bloom, though of course it's not as heavily flowered during winter months of course. But I got the impression from their website and from all the pictures I've seen, that starting in about April and lasting until it begins to SNOW, the place is simply SOLID with blooms! They just roll over from one species to the next which do best at X time. It's just NUTTY. And no matter how much they may spend to keep that place looking glorious, the bank they make with the ZILLIONS of visitors coming though makes it well worth the price to do it I'm sure. I would LOVE to go behind the scenes and watch what the army of gardeners do to keep it all in shape, plan for the next plantings, pulling out and replacing varieties, etc. It's gotta be some kind of crazy machine to coordinate so many people and such a huge place. Fascinating!
Thank you for posting
