Pink Swamp Heath

These flowers were growing on small shrubs in moist areas of the Tasmanian west coast and highlands. I'm fairly certain they are Pink Swamp Heath Sprengelia incarnata. [Edit] This ID has since been confirmed through discussions with a Tasmanian plant nursery.

Pond!!
Stunning array of these lovely subjects. Great details and DOF. Well done George Hugs Tess
amazing and must confess we do not have these ... I think ... but
not sure ... I love gardening or did should I say ... bad weather has
made it difficult and many plants and shrubs have died in the two
previous winters ... I hope it eases soon ... but with all our floods,
I think many spring flowering bulbs will not survive oOo
flowers and let you know ;-) we can but hope and you would
be most welcome to join us ;-)

similar colours ... now where did I see it ;-) but I think it said they
were some kind of bamboo flowers ... does bamboo have flowers ?
I did not think so ... perhaps its a common or funny name given
to them ... but will keep my eyes open ;-) oOo
