Many thanks for all your kind comments and faves on this shot. I didn't previously give an ID, but I'm reasonably confident this is Scented Paperbark Melaleuca squarrosa which grows as a shrub (to 4M) as these were, or as a small tree (to 10M). It is native to SE mainland Australia and Tasmania.
