We have an old dog feeding bowl in which we keep some wild bird seed. The Crimson Rosellas are frequent and welcome visitors.

Certainly a real eye catcher George.
I have not seen anything with such vivid colouring in the wild...apart from an escaped canary on a couple of occasions.
Not far from here there is the privately owned 'Birdworld' park in Hampshire, which has many exotic birds in free flying aviaries: but it is just not the same as being treated to such sights in one's own garden.

Thank you very much, we really are lucky with our birds. Interestingly, when these are young these are green! I must try for a shot of a young one.
