the font looks late c19 at the earliest, possibly a bodley addition from his work in the church, he extended the chancel in 1888, or maybe it's allied to hare's 1913 reredos. the recent painting is one of a set of stations of the cross; whilst a brave attempt to bring colour into the church, they lack the real power of the german expressionists whose style they take.
