remainder of saints and angels on east wall. the walls and ceiling were painted by j.a.reeve in 1902-14 with figures from the apocalypse, what remains indicates the theme was a sort of doom. much of the work wall lost to damp: the seven candlesticks over the altar crumbled away completely.
