round tower base, n. side. see flushwork squares to base with squared cut flint. because of this, when pevsner says norman, I say at least a complete c14 or later rebuild . see also the undisturbed[?] windows, and especially the brick lined putlog holes. anyone want to argue the toss? the flushwork crosses on the aisle wall look to have been tidied up in the 1860s.
