the tower probably dates from around 1200, and whilst the west window and top octagon date from 1846, they replace similar features of perhaps c.1350.

the round tower is a late mediaeval example of c.1350, most being a couple of centuries older, at least in foundation.

excellent stile and gate leading to the c14 church, a taster of the quiet joys to be found within. the chancel has obviously been shortened, though the claimed apse would be very unusual in a mid c14 church.
